Lisa Hill was selected as IIK’s Executive Director in 2009 after she had capably served as the organization’s Deputy Director since 2000. She is now serving as IIK’s President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at CU-Boulder, Lisa knew she wanted to dedicate her career to helping others. She chose the policy route, working for a US Congressman out of college and on both candidate and initiative campaigns before being hired as the Chief Deputy for a Los Angeles City Councilwoman. Throughout her time in constituent services, bringing people together to discuss difficult issues and facilitating decision-making processes that would impact the broader community for years to come became her passion. Lisa’s background aligned perfectly with IIK’s mission to partner with communities to further proven programs. As an organization, serving all of Colorado’s 64 counties, Lisa has been blessed spending the last 18 years working together with local and state leaders to improve the lives of our state’s most under-resourced children and families. In addition to her role at Invest in Kids, Lisa treasures time with her family and friends, enjoys hiking, reading and traveling.
