This past November, Invest in Kids’ Executive Director, Lisa Hill, was awarded the Constellation Award from Constellation Philanthropy in honor of the foundation’s five-year anniversary. The award is given to “a leader who has demonstrated systemic impact, stretching above and beyond the expected to ultimately change the early childhood ecosystem for the better.” Our board and staff at Invest in Kids could not agree more that Lisa is highly deserving of this award!
Kate Kennedy Reinemund, the Executive Director of Constellation Philanthropy, shared some brief remarks before presenting Lisa with the award, “When Lisa isn’t directing program implementation, she is at the State Capital, providing forceful and effective education and advocacy directed at legislators, helping ensure they make informed policy and budget decisions affecting early childhood and development. Lisa and Invest in Kids have been an excellent partner with Constellation, and her personal leadership, passion and force of personality have earned her my support for the Constellation Systemic Leadership Award.”
Constellation Philanthropy awarded Invest in Kids $13,000 for the impact that Invest in Kids continues to have statewide in the early childhood ecosystem with Lisa’s leadership. Thank you Constellation for recognizing Lisa and our team’s hard work and profound impact on children and families throughout Colorado!
