Get Ready For Invest in Kids’ Longest-running and Biggest Annual Fundraiser, the Jane-A-Thon!

Since the day Invest in Kids started serving children and families across Colorado, we’ve looked for innovative ways to secure funding. And what better way to do this than through a one-of-a-kind, fun-filled ski and snowboarding event!?

What Is The Jane-A-Thon?

The Jane-A-Thon started 23 years ago, with a group of four friends challenging each other to ski all the bump runs in one day on the Mary Jane Mountain at Winter Park Resort while raising funds for Invest in Kids. Since then, the Jane-A-Thon has grown to become a multi-day event named after the Mary Jane Mountain, bringing out hundreds of Coloradans to raise more than $250,000 for Colorado children and their families. All funds raised support Invest in Kids’ three proven programs, Nurse-Family Partnership®, The Incredible Years®, and Child First®

Why Should I Participate?

There really is no event out there like the Jane-A-Thon – it’s a one-of-a-kind fundraiser! By participating in the Jane-A-Thon, you’re not only supporting the health and well-being of Colorado’s youngest children and families, but you can also have fun on the slopes with your friends, co-workers, and family!

As we all know, the past two years have been difficult for all of us, especially for children and families experiencing poverty. The nurses, teachers, and caregivers who support young children need our support right now – the exact people Invest in Kids serves every day. Participating in the Jane-A-Thon will help IIK achieve our fundraising goal of $275,000, serving more families across our state.

How Can I Register?

We ask all Jane-A-Thon participants to pay a registration fee of $35 (which is waived for sponsor teams), along with a pledge-to-raise minimum of $175. In return, you’ll receive a Winter Park lift ticket, Jane-A-Thon gear including a hat, shirt and mask, free rentals, AND a chance to win incredible prizes by completing our ski and fundraising competitions.

Check out the Jane-A-Thon website where you can learn more about the event, what’s different this year, and the fundraising and ski competitions. Be sure to reserve your spot by registering today

Focusing on Health and Well-Being

The Jane-A-Thon is not immune from the uncertainties that impact how we do things. But we’re not strangers to obstacles (and moguls).

With the help of Winter Park and in accordance with all local and state guidance – we are happy to announce that this year’s event will include skiing and an in-person apres-ski party to celebrate success and acknowledge contest winners! Social distancing and masks are still encouraged for everyone, but we cannot wait to gather in-person to celebrate the 23rd Jane-A-Thon with you!

Choose To Invest in Kids

Participate in the 23rd Jane-A-Thon and pledge to raise at least $175 per person, as it is through the dollars that you raise that we are able to continue investing in the future for Colorado children!
